Small Business Faux Paux - Big One!

A Business owner should never post a blog, by which you pose as a non-owner, if you are in fact the owner: here is an example of such an incident...

I recently read a post from an associate, about a company that was owned by her, (RxQueen Aesthetics) on blogger.com, asking for friends to fan her new business. This would have been great and well deserved, if in fact she owned up to it.

However in her recent post about her business, she spoke as though she is a blogger and not an owner. This is a big mistake. One should never do this. It not organic growth, and will only lead to backlash from the community. Here she speaks about her company like it belongs to someone else. RxQnAesthetics: OOTD: Bohemian featuring Fancy Steps

Learning from #ashtonkutcher 's mistake could only make things better. She could have easily answered the question regarding ownership on her blog, but instead of addressing, or educating me on the issue, my comment was deleted. Deleted posts do not erase the issue, they just explode the issue.

If you are trying to make it as a blogger, business owner, entrepreneur or in any other field that relies on community support: you should always be correct in your assumptions, represent your true self, and stand behind your convictions.

automated marketing

Attain an automated marketing system, with a kick start and a little cash flow

The automated marketng system takes form, when your many pre-planned marketing campaings start to cross paths. Small business automated marketing is not an easy task, but it can be achieved with virtually no extra efffort, just strategic ad placements. You will need to strategically place your targeted adverstiments in a rythmic dance of information delivery. That dance includes placing an ad here, posting a flyer there, donating a gift to a charity or taking part in a community fair and doing whatever it takes to keep your name in front of your customers for the cheapest price, because you can also market your business to financial doom.

Create a marketing campaign

First create a marketing campaign that will target a specific form of marketing ie. flyer (ex. 2500 pieces size 3.5"x7" in full color front and back =$275) and place 1 print ad ($55 per month) in a local zine targeting the specific marketing area for a 3 month period. Then follow with 6 months of flyer distribution into the surrounding and target market area. All the while utilizing guerilla marketing tactics like street teams for local festivals and outdoor events. Create a campaign that will pull your customer into your business either with a discount, special deal, gift or guest of honor. Seek out local charity events that need your services or products and send press releases to all media and use media distribution services such as PR Web whenever possible.Pretty soon your press releases will turn into stories that will turn into free press, that will turn into curious readers, that will turn into curious shoppers, that will turn into gossiping curious people, that will turn into people who will create a mental conection next time they see your name, logo or hear about your community support-that is when your marketing becomes automated. You can post your press releases and stories online to create a virtual footnote which can be linked to the source, which will in turn create inbound links from the source and all those who link to it. I know what your thinking "this stuff is not free or automated" but read on...
